I ran into my daughter's room and did a big dance to wake her up. I then threw on some funny glasses and danced some more. She laughed even harder.
Sometimes waking her up can be a drag. What child really wants to get up for school anyway?

So I recommend having fun because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun. Ecclesiastes 8:15
I read that during my quiet time and thought to myself; I need to do better at having fun! I work really hard. Chances are you do too. How much hard work do you do in comparison to fun?
Come to find out, that's not precisely what Ecclesiastes means. In Hebrew, "having fun" means finding enjoyment in our daily activities (NLT Study Bible). If that is the case, dancing while you wake up a family member and wearing funny glasses is a perfect example of enjoying your daily activities.
Did you know that contentment helps kill anxiety? A way to practice contentment is to have fun while doing your daily activities. Don't dread doing the dishes; instead, turn it into a time when you can throw on some worship music.
